July Celebration!
July is National Recreation and Parks Month. Recreation facilities and parks across the country celebrate their summer programming and gather people in the community together to get involved in physical activities, family activities and to celebrate parks and recreation. Start by submitting a summery photo for the July Celebration photo contest – details are online at www.bisparks.org. Or, stop by Hillside Pool on Tuesday, July 6 for Fun Games from 7 – 8 p.m. Regular pool admission prices will apply.

Playground in a Box at Prairie Rose State Games
There really is something for everyone. Playground in a Box, a new way for kids to play with moveable parts, building pieces and sand and water is available to kids as young as 2 years old!. For just $5, kids can play their hearts out, get a t-shirt and a ball. The Prairie Rose State Games take place July 9-11.
Prairie Rose State Games Team Deadline Approaching
The deadline for all team sports at the Prairie Rose State Games is Monday, June 28. Those interested in participating in one of the team sports should finalize rosters and get registered. Details on team sport times and locations, as well as all Prairie Rose State Games sport and registration information can be found at http://www.prairierose.org. The deadline for individual sport registration is Monday, July 5th. There are many individual sports that also allow for on site registration. The 24th annual Prairie Rose State Games will be held in Bismarck-Mandan July 9-11. For more information on registrations and deadlines, call 701-222-GAME.
